In February of 2002, a package was received at the home of Mr. Meenee, containing a note which read as follows:
I like the site.
Here's some more shite.
- Paul Boering,
the artist formerly known.
Included with the note was an audiocassette featuring a few unreleased tracks, along with a note containing descriptions of each.
Gladglum and Others Ltd. has granted permission for the tracks to be made available at this site. To download the files, it is most recommended that you click the right mouse button over the title, and select "save target as."
Please note that the files are now graciously hosted by a mysterious fellow identified as "Josh," a favor for which Mr. Meenee is quite grateful.
A NEW HOST FOR THE FILES IS NECESSARY, I AM TOLD. PLEASE CONTACT ME IF YOU CAN BE OF SERVICE HERE.
Crime of The Century
A cover of a song by Mr. John Thunders (medleyized with songs of the much preferable UK punk varietty) with new lyrics by Mr. Sterling. This was recorded circa 1994 for a Thunders "tribute" compilation record which will never see the light of day (or the dark of night), as the fellow who was organizing this record believed the best place to store teh master tapes was in his none-too-jimmyproof car trunk. The tapes were last seen strewn down St. Mark's Place.
Thinking of the UK
...speaking of "the much preferable UK punk variety..." Circa 1992.
Sad Song (& Others Version)
1st appearance of the delinquent chorus. It resides on the cutting room floor, keeping company with "Doctor, she's in code blue" and the castrato harmony on "Caligari." Circa 1995.
